Kansas Visitors!!!!

 In May of 2012 Oldest Graduated and many visitors came to support him! In a place like St George you don't come just to sit at a 2 hr. graduation............. You enjoy ALL things outdoors!

And we did just that! 

We visited Pioneer Park, Sand hollow State Park, the Temple, went swimming, played Putt Putt and of course went to an awesome graduation (pictures were posted in an earlier post.....like when it happened :).

It was a great week!

So I have to put a note in about this little guy..........he is the youngest grandchild and my baby brother's youngest child. And if you can't tell by the pictures this was the first time we got to meet him.

He is just to cute for words!

(Obviously we fell in love with him!)

WE LOVE OUR FAMILY!

(So glad we got this visit in before we moved!)

One Big Day!

So as I look back I remember Nov. 1st, 2012 as a very big day at our house................

First it was Youngest's 14th birthday.........

And 2nd Oldest got a letter in the mail he had been waiting 2 weeks for..................

Oldest received his mission call on his sister's birthday after he had been staking the mail box out for a week. She was so kind to share her day with her big brother. They are very close and I believe she thought of it as a privilege!

He received his call to Kyiv, Ukraine, but since then has returned home to for medical reasons. This whole experience has been an eye opener for us and a reminder that the Lord knows where we are needed and what we can do in our lives to help others.

What fun this is!!!!

Homecoming, Hiking & Wisdom Teeth (Sounds Exciting!!)

So Middle went to her first homecoming dance last fall. 

And if I remember correctly she had a GREAT time!

In Oct. Uncle mike and Aunt Tawnya came to visit. For her birthday Tawnya wanted to come south and enjoy the outdoors. they went to Zion the day before we took them hiking up at Red Cliffs.

Nice hike, but a little warm for October!

In Nov. Oldest had his wisdom teeth pulled in preparation for his mission.

He had hoped to be a little goofy, but he wasn't to bad.

It has been fun to look back at all this picts! So I will go find some more!

Catching Up!

I have been such a slacker!!!!! Soooo much has happened since my last post that it will take awhile to catch up, so I have decided to post most pictures in collages.

First up is our trip to Jackson Hole Wyoming last Sept (2012) for Van's parent's 50th wedding anniversary trip. After the trip we celebrated with all the Grandkids at the campground.

The trip included cute cabins, a broken window, a boat ride, The Bar J Wranglers and lots of laughs!

Halloween 2012

 So for Halloween this year we had a ward Halloween carnival. On Halloween the girls went to help at the neighbors spook alley they set up for the carnival. So as teenagers "to old to Trick or Treat" they had a great time I think.
