A New Door

If anyone has seen Rocky's temporary door we would put in each time we went out of town, then you would also understand why his new door (in the wall) is post worthy.

It took some coaxing and some bribery, but he finally went through the door. It took the same to get him back in. It actually took about a week to get him to stop going to the door to be let out. Then even after that he would go out the doggie door, but bark at the back door to be let in. Now it's second nature.

Vacation: Getting Out The Door

Before leaving on our 11 day 8 state tour, Van installed a bigger dogie door for Rocky not the kids. The kids thought they needed to try it out though. I was actually trying to get a picture of the dog sticking his head out. He loves to just stick his out and check out
whats going on instead of going all the way out. (I believe it is because it's 110 degrees outside.) This is our temporary solution when we are gone for over night of any kind. It wouldn't be as fun a post if it was the dog though ;-).
