Middle's 12th B-day

I know, I know her birthday was in April,
but I wanted to share the picts with all of you. She turned 12 & we always told the kids they would get a party with friends on their 5th, 8th & 12th birthdays. We have friends who have a theater room & they offered it to us. So we planned a "Movie Premiere" party. She planned the whole thing, games, movie, food etc. She forgot to plan how they were going to get there (well sort of). She kept begging us to rent a limo. I told her it was to much. The week before I got a hold of a friend whose husband drives a limo for a living. He agreed to drive them over to the party from our house (about 4-5 blocks, I know real far). I decided not to tell Our Middle Bundle of Joy. When they went outside thinking they were getting in our car (which by the way had disappeared conveniently) they found a beautiful white limo (the one she wanted). Steve (the limo driver) was all decked out in his uniform & escorted each girl (& Mom) into the limo. Steve went all out. The girls were spoiled. He even let them pour their water in champagne glasses. He ended up driving them around town for about a half hour and then dropping them off at "The Movie Premiere" where a red carpet was waiting for their arrival (the wind blew it over & Steve got out to fix it before it let the girls out , so sweet). With their boas' & fancy purses they were ready to PARTY! They had a great time & didn't want to leave.
We have such good
friends. They helped me become "The Best Mother Ever" (for awhile anyway). So THANK YOU for great friends!

Wow! Invite me to the next one! I can't even imagine how excited I would have been to ride in a limo with my friends when I turned 12. You are the "Best Mom Ever!"
