Back To School

WOW! I can't believe it's time for another year of school. I am not ready for this any more than they are. It is a sad occasion at our house.

We made it thru the first day and then took off to go to a funeral out of town for 2 days. Back to school on Friday then off for the weekend. So needless to say, it has yet to feel like school has started.

But it has and here is the proof (new clothes, backpacks, & supplies isn't that proof enough!?).

The Middle left first by carpool at 7:25.

The Oldest left at 7:45 (school starts at 8:25.

You decide why he went early, now remember he is a 14 yr. old boy.)

The Youngest was the last one to leave with Mom of course.

(The only one who will let me any more).

The two oldest buy their own clothes and other things now. I was so proud of all of the kids for shopping smart. We have been shopping the sales since July and also hitting the D.I. (Deseret Industries) when possible. It has been fun to see what outfits they can come up with on a budget.

Middle was so excited to find this CUTE backpack (at Target). More than any of her other finds.

Oldest walked with his "adopted" brother & his cousin.

So it is unofficially "Goodbye" to Summer. We will still try to enjoy the sun a little while longer, but I am not sad to see the heat go (hopefully sooon!).

It has been hard for me to watch them grow up so fast, but I am excited to see all the things that they will do this year.
