This kid just can't stop. He has his mother's hard heart finding some tenderness (the nerve!). We were able to go down to the Aviation Nation Air Show in Las Vegas this last weekend. The Oldest or Cadet __________, got to go with his ROTC crew (I am slowly learning the correct lingo). We along with Van's parents decided it would be a fun weekend activity. After waiting 45 mins, and being searched just to get to the base we enjoyed some awesome acrobatics, lots of speed, some pretty loud noises and the Thunderbirds. We had hoped to see more of our Cadet, but he needed to stay with his crew which is where he should be. We had fun though and we are excited to have such a dedicated Young Man in our family. Love Ya Bud!
I took quite a few pictures so I will just let y'all enjoy them. I will tell you though that the helicopter is really upside down. Yep, we saw an acrobatic helicopter. I even got video to prove it. It was AMAZING!

Oh, and yes our necks were a little sore when we headed home, but a good sore (if there is one). We had a fun time!

You guys are sure building some great memories. I think it is so neat. Keept it up.
I can't believe how grown up he is. I remeber when he was in kindergarden. What a great kid!!!
"Eldest" is getting so old! You are great parents for supporting him in his interests and letting him have such amazing experiences. I was touched by your Veteran's Day tribute also. I'm going to complete the tag assignment, so look for a new pic on my blog! I have yet to discover what it will be!
