My Birthday

I GOT A NEW CAMERA!!!!!!!!

O.K. so I don't usually advertise my birthday, but I am finally coming to terms with the fact that I have one every year (you would think I would learn after 28 years?). I had a great day! I GOT A NEW CAMERA! It was the last day of school before the Christmas break so it was an even bigger celebration this year. I did have to go to a meeting that day, but thanks to Youngest for having a program at school I only had to go for an hour. Aren't kids great?! Van took me to lunch after and then I went shopping for the rest of the afternoon thanks to some birthday cash. The best present though was the fact that my phone didn't ring once while I was shopping ! (Although I did get A NEW CAMERA!) That night our family and our friends Don & Lori Hayes went out to dinner at Wingers and then to see Forgotten Carols. We have been seeing it for the last several years, but took the kids for the first time last Christmas. They enjoyed it so much that we went again as part of their Christmas. It is always a great way to bring the spirit of the season into our lives especially at the begining of their Christmas break. Did I mention I got a new Camera for my birthday? I didn't want to forget to tell you and also to Thank my Sweet Hubby for it. Thanks Sweet Hubby! The kids gave me a set of the 3 Wise Men Nutcrackers. I was so excited to add these to my growing collection! Thanks You WONDERFUL Kids You!

I had an awesome day and thank you to those who wished me a Happy Birthday! I try every year to appreciate it more. Life is good and I am grateful to see a birthday every year and to be with my family during this time of year. What a blessing! It's a great season to celebrate a birth and I am blessed to get to share it with the best.
