Region Swim Meet

Ready......Set..........Go!

Pull!.....Pull!....Pull!...Pull!...Pull!...Pull!....

CONGRATULATIONS!......JOB WELL DONE!

Region 9 Swim Meet was this last Thurs. and Fri. The Oldest did AWESOME! He swam the 200 I.M. (50 yds. of each stroke) on Thurs. and a 100 yd. breaststroke on Fri. He didn't better his time in the I.M., but shaved 4 seconds off his breaststroke! He worked soooooo hard all year and we are proud of him! The State Swim Meet is in Feb. and he will find out at practice on Monday morning if he made it. If not, swim team will be over for this year, but starts up again in 7 months (can you believe it?!) We hope to get him some private lessons and he will join a Summer swim team. He really enjoys it amd works very hard at it so we hope he knows how much we love him and how proud we are.

WAY TO GO OLDEST!!! I hope you get to go to state, if not 4 seconds is amazing - take it from someone who knows!! You are amazing - keep it up! We are cheering for you!

I was at the rec center when the swimmers were preparing to leave for state. They were practicing right before they left. A guy working there said to me that he has never seen a sport team practice so hard. Swimmers are awesome!
