Vacation: Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, & Oklahoma

We hit the road at 6 AM June 1st and headed south into Arizona stopping in Page and Flagstaff. We have stopped at the Continental Divide before and enjoy the shopping so we got to do it again. The scenery thru NM is BEAUTIFUL! That night we made it to Santa Rosa, New Mexico and stayed the night. The kids enjoyed the pool while we enjoyed the hot tub. Only one mis-hap as Middle decided to ignore the NO DIVING sign. I had to take a picture for posterity sake and also it's an AWESOME blog pic!

We got to my Uncle John's around 6 PM on July 2nd, and the kids still had to head to the lake. They never miss an opportunity to get in the water.

Here are Middle and Youngest with their cousins............or as we know them "The Girls". Every time they get together they always put on a show for us. It is a privilege every time! Thanks you AWESOME GIRLS!

The 4th of July...................

My (almost) 80 year old Aunt Wammoth surprised us all by riding the tube (w/my Uncle Kent) and also the wave runner w/my Dad. Being able to see Aunt Wammoth and witnessing her fun escapades (and also visualizing my G'parents having a great laugh) made the long 24 hour drive
worth it. Check out her feet dangling.....she kept slipping down furthering in the tube.

Doesn't she look GREAT for 80!!!!! (Almost)
This a family favorite............... (we all understood the meaning behind this prayer ;) We all love ya Dad!

Here is a sneak peak out how the rest of our 4th of July went...............
Good food and loud noises!

Coming soon..........

More pictures of some great fireworks (pretty much everything is legal in Oklahoma).

That looks like such a great time! I haven't seen much of your family from your side before. You are right your Grandma is awesome. I hope that is how I look when I am almost 80! Glad you all had fun!
