Halloween Eve

Friday was the school Halloween party and parade with the Trunk or Treat that night. Youngest is the only one who really cares anymore, so it wasn't to hard until Middle decided she needed to do something.
So we had a Midnight Fairy and a Face Book Profile (the one with the orange wig).
I helped with the party and thanks to a friend's blog, we made these cute acorns. Good thing we also had sugar cookies to decorate, because only one student knew what an acorn was. They turned out cute and delicious. Van and I decided to have some fun and had an 80's flashback trunk. We did get some fun reactions. A great start to a fun weekend.We did realize that we have older kids so it definitely was simplified.









This was after all the school stuff. She still had a long night ahead of her.

*Side note:
Oldest was at a swim meet so he missed out. (He wasn't to disappointed. Only that he missed the haunted trailer the YM did). But he did great in all three meets, bettering all his times.
