Sports Update

The other day I realized that we have said goodbye to another season of swimming, basketball and volleyball and started another round (#3 this year) of volleyball. It's happy and sad.

~Oldest ended swimming at regions this year. Due to an injury (shoulder) the last half of the season was tough on him, but he hun in there. His relay team medaled at regions and his other times stayed the same. With an injury I'd say he did pretty good. I also learned how to judge swimming this year (boy I do not know everything!)

~Youngest played city basketball again this winter and loved it. She is a natural and is getting really good at 3 point shots. They didn't win any games this year. but improved ALOT! All scores were very close.

~Middle played border league volleyball in the fall, league volleyball Dec.-Feb and is now in a travelling volleyball league. She has improved a TON and has really learned to love the game. The coach is thrilled to be teaching her to set and can't wait to see how tall she gets (you should have heard his voice when I told him about the height in our family :-). He is loving her height now. This league is run by the HS Coach who is getting the girls ready for HS ball.
~All of this consumed our winter for the most part, but it is fun to be a part of it with them.
