The fact that life didn't stop and let US savor our anniversary weekend and post it last month is reason enough to be posting it now. At least it was fun and relaxing enough to not forget.
Van and I took off the first weekend in April to Zions. We found a Bed & Breakfast with a room open (the Honeymoon Suite :) and stayed one night. We went up early Friday and walked around town and enjoyed the slower pace of life there. We waited until 11:00 (check out time) on Sat. to leave. After which we weren't ready to go home, so we headed back to town and went to the Art Show. Then caught lunch and got home in time for Van to rest a little bit (still relaxed) before heading to Priesthood Session of Conference with Oldest (which for him just added to a so far GREAT weekend).
Ohhhhh was it a nice and reeeelaxxxxxxing weekend!
This is the view from our B&B~~~~~
Our room was very spacious (sorry all pictures are after pictures I was not thinking of taking them before). We even had a private jacuzzi.
Breakfast was AWESOME! They bring it to you HOT and in a basket at your chosen time (I loved that idea). It was DELICIOUS :-)!
The kids stayed home and did very well on their own for the first time (so nice to have teenagers sometimes). We are proud of them and helped us enjoy the weekend even more.
Some day we will go back (we hope).
