G'ma Pat came to visit @ the end of April and stayed for a couple of weeks. She was able to attend some of the kid's activities while she was here. She usually only hears about them or sees pictures so this was a treat for her and the kids. She was able to go to a volleyball game, band concert, & a JROTC promotion ceremony.
For Middle's b-day, Aunt Jojo bought hair color and G'ma attempped to color her hair. The first time she not only colored Middle's hair she also colored her shirt (she did get a new one while she was here).......
By the time it had been colored twice it really looked good. Especially when the sun hit.
Rocky ALWAYS enjoys G'ma's visits.
Can you say SPOILED?! She even bought him treats (which he is still working on G'ma).
G'ma never comes empty handed. Along with pillow cases, she brought this frame G'pa had made for the girls with the YW's theme in it. (I couldn't decide which one to embarrass with their picture so I put both of them on here).
G'ma surprised Oldest by cleaning his room while he was at school one day. Honestly I don't know who was surprised the most. G'ma by how dirty his room really was or Oldest by the fact that G'ma would risk her health to do it. (Hahaha!!!)
He did take her out for frozen yougurt before she left (Bishop's advice).
She loves to spend time with the kids. She made PJ bottoms for the girls and helped Youngest with this memo board for her room.
My WHOLE family love my Mom's quilts. She puts so much love and thought into each one she does. This one she made for our 17th anniversary. We LOVE it! Not only because it is very cozy and comfy, but because it was made with us in mind and with ALL her LOVE! THANK YOU MOM! We will always cherish it!
Thank you G'ma/Mom for a great visit and for taking your time (especially all the extra work it took) to come out and make memories with ALL of us! We will patiently await your next visit. Thanks also to G'pa/Dad for doing w/o a wonderful woman so that she could be w/us! We would love to see you next time as well!
