Mother's Day & Birthday #40

Mother's Day happen to fall on Van's 40th b-day this year. Van decided he wanted to surprise his Mom for Mother's Day. So we headed up the day before and surprised ALL. Especially his Mom (I forgot to get my camera out of the car before we hid it). With his Dad's help we were waiting @ the house when they got back from the campground. We did have to wait in the shop for a little bit, because the house was locked up,but all worked out and boy was she surprised. It was a lot of fun for us and we will always remember the Mother's Day we surprised G'ma W.!
I was able to get Van's presents in the car before we left w/o him knowing, so he was surprised on Sunday morning when he had presents to open. The kids got him a JUMBO remote, I found him some cedar grilling planks and a new foam pillow. We invited alll the adults to join us for dinner @ the restaraunt of his choice on Saturday and had a great time w/everyone. Sunday we just hung out and enjoyed visiting w/everyone.

G'ma did you even think two 14 year old girls could sleep together on your couch?
We even managed to bring her some of Van's roses (which she LOVES!)
On Monday before we left we headed to the campground to check out all the changes to the tree house. It looks awesome and just keeps getting bigger! Oldest also needed to take pictures to make a slide show for a High Adventure camp he is putting together for our ward.

YEP thats a tree house!

It turned out to be a very nice (quick but nice) and relaxing weekend. We are so glad wecould make it happen! Just be prepared you never know when we might show up again unannounced!
