It Finally Happened............

....Our baby turned 12!

She was beginning to think that life had slowed down when the last of her friends and primary classmates turned 12 in August. We definitely didn't see it that way.

On the morning of her birthday she woke up to find our lawn BEAUTIFULLY decorated in her honor by some very anxious YW. Since I had spent the last 3 yrs in YW's (until last month anyway), Sierra went to alot of activities. So it was hard for the girls to remember that she wasn't official yet andnow EVERYBODY (especially Sierra) is happy!

 They wrote some great (&true) things about her too.....

 Before school she had time to open her presents from the Grandparents and had to save the rest for later in the evening.

 She has been wanting and watching this bike for the last 6 months. She did agree to save for half of it herself and she succeeded (with the help of lots of neighbors needing babysitters and her thriftiness).....

So being her 12th she got a birthday party this year (picts to come later), so she opted for donuts on her big day and cake for the party.
