This part 1 of Mike & Jen & family when they came to visit in August.
*A side note: This was the weekend Oldest went on the high adventure up north at the family camp ground. So you will not see him in any of these posts.
We went to check out a hike we kept hearing about. Up the Kanarreville canyon is beautiful scenery, waterfalls and some great weather.
I didn't know what to expect on this hike. The girls had been before, but we still weren't quite prepared. I needed to be in better shape (I did make it to the end though) and we needed more water.
These pictures do not do the scenery justice, but it just might make you want to come visit us just to go on this hike :)
We had to climb up this very sturdy ladder (well sort of) to get up to the big waterfall........
(Sorry about the sideways video)
The waterslide they were looking forward to.
A cool tree growing upside down from a rock. I had to zoom in with my camera to make sure it was a tree.
We LOVED this hike! We hope to do it again maybe next year, but I have some work to do first.
We had a great time exploring it with Mike & Jen and family!
We definitely recommend it if you are in the area!
